An investment firm backed by one of Wall Street’s most prestigious hedge fund managers is financing a new company that will fund in-building infrastructure for enterprise customers. Tiger Infrastructure Partners, backed by hedge fund pioneer Julian Robertson, will fund DAS and small cell systems through Strategic Venue Partners, founded by wireless industry veterans Rich Grimes and Chad Aaron.
Grimes said SVP will work with vendors like JMA Wireless and SpiderCloud Wireless to create solutions for venues and office buildings that need to cover 500,000 square feet or more.
