Competition has served technology innovators, manufacturers, mobile network operators, over-the-top service providers and end-users extremely well. Markets have functioned and advanced superbly with a vibrant supply ecosystem and providing 4.1 billion LTE connections out of 9.4 billion in total worldwide. In the U.S., 63 percent of the nation’s 479 million mobile connections use LTE.
