Vodafone Australia, Friday announced its plans to decommission its legacy 2G network on 30 September 2017.
Vodafone said the 2G service now carries less than one percent of the company’s data traffic, and around two percent of its voice traffic, with the 4G network serving close to 80 per cent of the company’s total data traffic.
