Application security has always been – and will always be – a chief concern for organizations. Yet breaches continue to wreak havoc on some of today’s top companies. An IDG/Veracode survey finds that a staggering 98% of respondents evaluate application security at least annually, and nearly all find vulnerabilities at least some of the time.
To minimize security threats, organizations must detect vulnerabilities that might expose an application to attack. But security testing that slows development processes will be underused or overlooked.
