Nokia has reached a deal to acquire Nakina Systems to strengthen its security portfolio through the addition of Nakina’s products and expertise. Nokia plans to use Nakina’s products to support customers facing security threats from mobile broadband expansion, Software-Defined Networks(SDN), Network Function Virtualization(NFV), and the Internet of Things.
The Canadian-based Nakina provides identity access, configuration management and orchestration solutions that are used by some of the world’s largest global service providers.
