U.S. regional service provider, Windstream will be equiping its multiple multi-dwelling units (MDUs) in Lincoln, Nebraska with G.fast technology. Windstream plans to extend the deployment of G.fast to deliver speeds of up to 1 Gbps over copper in Lincoln and to other markets around the country.
Windstream which offers bundled services, including broadband, security solutions, voice and digital TV to consumers has selected Calix AXOS nodes and GigaFamily solutions to enable the service.
