Boingo launches cellular DAS, Wi-Fi networks at New Orleans airport

Boingo Wireless has launched neutral host cellular Distributed Antenna System and Wi-Fi networks at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). The company will provide multi-carrier wireless services at the 972,000 square-foot complex that will, according to a press release, accommodate the increasing mobile data demands of the 5G era.

Specifically, the neutral-host DAS boosts cellular signals and can support multiple Tier One carriers. In addition, the high-density Wi-Fi offers passengers a free connectivity experience, with speeds up to 100 Mbps.
