Whether you like it or not, private 5G is here (at least for a while) to stay. According to some estimates, by 2026, there will be more than 20,000 private wireless networks (LTE and 5G) costing enterprises over $5 billion.
Private 5G has wireless has the potential to revolutionize networking, delivering greater bandwidth and lower latency for critical business applications. But that doesn’t mean its rollout or application has been smooth. Rather, while many 5G users are seeing improved performance compared to older tech, these 5G services are generally underperforming expectations.
